Birthday at the Sacramento Zoo!

Sadie had a great morning with Grandpa, Auntie Ali, Jack and her wonderful friend/cousin Sammy at the zoo!
Here is the VERY NOISY monkey. Sadie and Sammy had to plug their ears. It is quite the experience!
We had a perfect day at the zoo. When I asked Sadie what her favorite thing in the reptile house was, she answered, "the crickets!" Creepy crawlies have never been her favorite. When asked what her favorite animal, she answered,"the elephants!" Then I said, "there were no elephants." Then she said, "oh..then the parrots and the ducks." Love those wings!

"OH"~ I absolutely love the hand-over-the-mouth excitement Sadie feels when she gets a great present.

Pinewood Derby #1

Jordan did great this year in the pinewood derby. He is a bear this year and is loved to helping his Dad make and design the car. He was watching the DVD "School House Rock" , the one with the inventors on it, and was asking me what he should invent. I am looking forward to see what he will do with his love for building things!
