NANA'S VISIT!!

Nana came to California and we had such a GREAT time!
We missed our Zada and our Ada-B, but hopefully we will see them soon!
We went to a Japanese Restaurant and ate California Rolls and Tempura...ummmm!

Nana had a awesome craft for the kids! She did hand prints and foot prints of the children on white fabric squares. Then made them into different things, such as flamingos, hearts, pumpkins, and bats. They will all be sewn into a quilted wall hanging! Awesome!
We all went to visit Uncle Chris and Auntie Kirsten in Occicental. We stayed at the local Hotel where this picture was taken. It is such a quaint little town.

We love our family!

Family Reunion

Our REUNION was absolutely WONDERFUL!!
We went to Lake Tahoe and played at the beach, rowed in boats and some even got to jet ski!!
We rafted down the Truckee River...it took 3 big rafts to accomadate the hoards of us!!
The cousins got to play in a variety of places...Grammas, Auntie Em's, Uncle Billy's, Hiking, Beaching, and Boating. We had Fiestas, Luau's and Itailian Bistros! What a week!
Grandpa and Grandma Griffitts celebrated their 40 years of blissful marriage!
Congratulations on producing such a magnificent family, and being an splendid example to us all!

Camping in Tahoe

Cascade Falls in Tahoe is absolutely beautiful!
We went camping with our cousins! Eric got a little terrified when he thought his little Mario figure had gone down the waterfall, but luckily Daddy saved Mario from a
bumpy, soggy, torturous death!

Camping!!

Early in the summer we went camping with some friends at
Mt. Diablo. I have stared at that mountain ( from my childhood home) my whole life and had never been there. It was sooo fun to camp under the BIG Oak trees. The kids caught a lizard, there were lots of lady bugs and the Big Daddy Raccoon that ate the neighbors whole pizza!! We stood at the tippy top of the mountain. We watched the fog roll in under us and felt like were flying in an airplane. It was the start of a great summer!

Eric is the perfect middle child. He is sooo loving, generous and thoughtful of others around him. Eric loves to use his imagination. He loves to create characters, worlds, and even new languages. Right now, he has been talking about Xteon. Xteon looks like a metal ball that has many powers, who can live in lava for 2 years. Ask him and he will tell you a detailed story. He loves Pokemon cards and carries them around everywhere. He loves to build ships out of Legos. He is very excited to start 1st grade this year.

He will be starting 3rd grade and is ready for a daily schedule again. Jordan loves to be organized and loves to be with friends. Hmmm...kinda sounds like me. Jordan is a perfect oldest child. He is helpful, responsible, and generous. Jordan loves to collect things and decorate HIS shelf above his bed.
